How to choose a Imou camera

Is Imou made by Dahua?

Do Imou cameras need WiFi?
Most Imou cameras connect over WiFi, so they need a router. Many models record to a microSD card, so recording can continue if the internet is down, but you need internet to watch remotely.
Is there a monthly fee for Imou cameras?
Cloud storage is optional. Many models can record to a microSD card in the camera without any subscription. Check the model you are buying to see which storage it supports.
Can I watch Imou cameras on my phone?
